Tanjung Pandan is my place of birth, in a hospital common areas only. Tanjung Pandan is the district capital of the islands Belitong. Previously, the city's icon is a monument with the name of "Jam Gede". But it's been lost with the new icon "tugu batu satam".

Local people believe, "satam" is a living stone. there are some local people who keep this thing in a container of water placed in it, in the belief that things can live and grow up. Other beliefs, if this thing beaten and broken, then this thing can believe this thing (be) dead. there is a unique way to divide "satam" into several parts. namely by cutting or dividing by a piece of betel leaf. absurd, but this is the rumor that is received from the past.
